We at Ringers are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

This role is perfect for individuals who have a minimum of two years’ experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working on small engine equipment, fleet equipment, skid steers, and trucks, both gas and diesel.

A strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and an eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair and maintenance of small engine and fleet equipment
• Routine maintenance and repair of gas and diesel engines
• Sharpening and upkeep of various types of mowers
• Performing preventative maintenance checks
• Physical ability to occasionally lift items weighing 25-100 lbs
• Managing equipment inventory and maintenance records
• Assisting in loading and unloading landscape materials as needed

Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in relevant field

• Proficient knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work during snow storms to ensure equipment is operational
• Valid driver’s license; welding skills are a plus
